Hebrews 12:18-13:2

 

The City of God:

To angels in festal gathering

To the church of the firstborn enrolled in heaven

To God, the judge of all

To the spirits of the righteous made perfect

To Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant

You have come to an unshakeable kingdom

 

Therefore:

Let brotherly love remain (Philadelphia)

Practice hospitality – (philoxenia)

- It is to “strangers”

- It could include angels

- It is for Jesus

- It is connected to the way we have been welcomed
