Justification: The Gift Of Righteousness

Romans 3:21-31

 

Defining Justification:

- Negatively: Just as if I never sinned.

- Positively: Just as if i always obeyed.

 

1. God declares guilty sinners to be righteous through faith alone in Christ alone. (v. 21-24)

 

2. God demonstrates His righteousness by judging sin in the cross of Christ. (v. 25-26)

 

3. God dispenses righteousness as a gift which excludes human boasting. (v. 27-31)
