Philippians 4:4-9

1 | The Christian Life is a Life of Joy (v. 4)

2 | The Christian Life is a Life of Joyful Reasonableness (v. 5a)

3 | The Christian Life is a Life of Joyful Fear (v. 5b)

4 | The Christian Life is a Life of Joyful War on Worry (v. 6)

Trusting God's Promises in Prayer:

• When I am anxious about something I’m facing: Isa 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. 
• When I am anxious about decisions I have to make Ps 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.  
• When I am anxious about getting old, Isaiah 46:4 even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you
• When I am anxious about people who may be against me Romans 8:31 If God is for us, who can be against us.
• When I am anxious over my sin: Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
