Illumination Definition: "The work of the Holy Trinity, enlightening believers to behold the light of the Lord Jesus Christ, moving us closer into the divine life and providing greater vision to perceive the Scriptures rightly and live accordingly."

 

 

1 | We Need to See God

- Seeing God in Scripture:

  - Numbers 6:24-26

  - Psalm 80:3

  - Matthew 5:8

  - 1 John 3:2 

 

 

2 | We See God through His Word

- John 16:13-15

- 1 Corinthians 10:1-4

Three Things to Remember:

1. Illumination deals with the head, heart, and hands.

2. Illumination is not automatic but through means.

3. Illumination is on the Word and in the Church.
