Genesis 1:1 & John 1:1

1 | Jesus, the Word of God and Light of the World, shines in the Darkness and brings Order out of Chaos (Genesis 1:1-3 & John 1:1-5)

2 | Jesus radically, sovereignly saves those in darkness and brings them into the light, all for the glory of God (John 8:12, 9:1-12)

3 | We as followers of Jesus are called to be salt and light, preserving the world from decay and shining into the darkness. (Matthew 5:13-16)

4 | The Kingdom of God will shine in its glorious fullness at the return of Jesus and darkness will be no more. (Hebrews 12:25-29 & Revelation 21:1, 22-27)
