Psalm 1

 

 

1 | The way of the godly man (1:1-3)

A. His life from a negative view (v. 1)

B. What regulates his life from a positive view (v. 2)

C. The fruit of his life (v 3)

 

 

2 | The way of the ungodly man (1:4-5) 

A. Fruitless (v. 4)

B. Full of judgment (v 5)

 

 

3 | The destinies of the two (1:6)

A. The Lord knows the path of the righteous (v 6a)

B. The path of the ungodly perishes (v 6b)

 

 

Application:
1. First, you must be born again and surrender daily to the lordship of Christ (Romans 12:1-2)
2. Delight and Meditate on God’s Word moment by moment (Psalm 1:2)
3. Live a life with roots drawing from the hidden resources of God (Psalm 1:3)
