Hebrews 4:1-11

 

1 | Fear Is Required for Entering into God’s Rest (v. 1)

 

2 | Faith Is Required for Entering into God’s Rest (v. 2-10)

 

3 | Focus Is Required for Entering into God’s Rest (v. 11)

 

What Does it Mean to Strive?

1. We must pay much closer attention to what we have heard (2:1) 
2. Consider Jesus the apostle and high priest (3:1)
3. Do not harden your hearts (3:8)
4. Take care…lest there be…an unbelieving heart (3:12)
5. Exhort one another every day (3:13) 
6. Hold our original confidence firm to the end (3:14)
7. And fear [unbelief] (4:1)
