1 | Self-Inflicted Suffering

- Its value: Faith to forsake my sin and repent

- Hebrews 5:8

- 1 Peter 4:1-2

- We learn obedience

 

 

2 | Others-Inflicted Suffering

- Its value: Faith to forgive others’ sin and restore

- Matthew 18:21-22

- We learn dependence

 

 

3 | Satan-Inflicted Suffering

- Its value: Faith to fight and redeem

- Job 1:12-21

- Luke 22:31, 32

- Romans 8:28

- We learn transcendence
