I. Our Adversary in the Warfare (6:11b-12)

Reasons Satan Is So Effective:
(1) His spiritual being & intellectual power. 
(2) His experience.
(3) His tireless energy for promoting evil.
(4) He has an army of demons.
(5) His evil suggestions are almost indistinguishable from our Corrupt desires.
(6) He is skilled at matching his suggestions with our corrupt reason.

The Devil's Schemes:
(1) He works in active opp to the gospel. 
(2) Satan will do all he can do to oppose or disrupt mission endeavors. 
(3) Satan is sometimes the source of our thorn in the flesh.
(4) He infiltrates the church & plants w/I it his own
(5) He promotes false doctrine.
(6) He steals the word when preached.
(7) He incites persecution.
(8) He attacks our thought life.
